How can a personal assistant service help me?

There just aren’t enough hours in the day…why waste your time doing errands when you can spend your time more productively?

 

Chicago Anytime Assistants is available to help you accomplish your everyday tasks ranging from running errands, office work, concierge and appointment management and in-home services such as waiting for deliveries or overseeing service repairs.  We will act as your personal assistant, meaning, you name the task and we will do it.  No task is too small or too large.

What are the benefits of becoming a client of Chicago Anytime Assistants?

Not many people are in the position to hire a full-time assistant, and there are many hassles and risks in hiring part-time help.  We are a unique service in that we are able to operate around your schedule and are flexible—you can book dedicated time with us or just contact us when you require services. 

 

We offer superior customer service and hire only the most capable service professionals.  We are also fully licensed, bonded, and insured for your protection and we keep all our clients’ personal information completely confidential.

 

How much do you charge?
We charge a flat $40 per hour for nearly all services.  We do not nickel-and-dime for mileage.

 

Premium rates of $50/hr apply for extended hours/weekends and $60/hr for holidays are offered on an ‘as available’ basis. 

 

We also offer prepaid packages for a discount. Please inquire directly and we will do our best to accommodate you.

 

Do you charge for mileage?

No, not in the city.  Our fees are hourly and straightforward.  There are no hidden charges.

For service in our new North Shore coverage area, standard IRS mileage rate of $0.55 cents/mile will be assessed.

 

Is there a membership fee?
No.  Competing services often charge a yearly membership fee on top of their hourly services but we believe in charging you only for services and not piling on additional fees.

 

How do I know how much time will Chicago Anytime Assistants charge for each task?

You will always know upfront how much time you will be billed for—no surprises.  For every task or service you request, we will provide you with a written estimated number of hours.  If work is going to exceed the estimate, we will contact you prior to completing the task for your approval.

 

How do I become a client?

Once I am a client, how do I order services?

We will establish at our initial consultation whether you prefer to set a weekly appointment or request services as-needed.  Either way, you can contact us with a new request by phone at 312.320.6789 or via email at Pam@ChicagoAnytimeAssistants.com.  You will receive a confirmation of your request and an estimated amount of time to complete the task within 24 hours.

 

How can I be assured that Chicago Anytime Assistants staff are reliable and trustworthy?

We understand that trust and efficiency are the cornerstones of our business.  Employees are chosen based on their prior work history in a client service field, educational level, knowledge of the Chicagoland area and commitment to customer service.  Each employee undergoes a background and security check.  Chicago Anytime Assistants is fully licensed, bonded, and insured for your protection.

 

Will I have a dedicated person working for me?

Yes.  And you have the option to meet and approve anyone that is providing service in your home.


What is your turnaround time?

Clients who choose to work with us during a reoccurring appointment will have tasks handled that day.  All other requests will be completed within 48 hours.  Same-day/"rush" services are provided "as available."


How do you bill for services?

We bill by the hour with a two-hour minimum for your first service. Services are billed in 15-minute increments thereafter.  CAA fronts all of your purchases and expenses (such as groceries, dry cleaning, etc) and they are billed along with your hourly rate.


What methods of payment do you accept?

We require a credit card be kept on file, but CAA pays upfront for all purchases and bills twice monthly via PayPal for our hourly services and purchases.  Personal checks are also accepted.  A charge will only be made to your card if your PayPal payment is not received.

 

Do hourly packages expire?

Yes, hourly packages expire within 90 days of purchase.  Gift certificates also expire within 90 days of purchase.

 

What are your business hours?

Office Hours are 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Monday – Friday. After hours, holiday and weekend rates are offered as available and rates vary.

 

What does Chicago Anytime Assistants do with the information that I provide about me?

Your personal information is safe and secure.  Chicago Anytime Assistants does not give out personal information to third parties.  Click here for our Privacy Policy.

 

As part of our client agreement, we are subject to this Privacy Policy which ensures we will treat all of your personal information and property appropriately.

 

We believe that trust should be earned, not automatically given.  That is why we do not require clients to give us house and car keys—they are given to us at the discretion of each client.

 

What is Chicago Anytime Assistants’ cancellation policy?
We require 24 hours notice if you are canceling or re-scheduling an appointment.  Notification may be done via e-mail or telephone.  If notification is not received, we reserve the right to charge you for the full amount of time scheduled.

 

What services will Chicago Anytime Assistants not perform?

Chicago Anytime Assistants will not perform any service that is illegal, unethical or that poses unnecessary danger to any person or property. CAA further reserves the right to decline any request at its sole discretion.
